What is a platform?

This answer ultimately depends on the context the question is asked within.

Since this is an IT blog and I’m in IT I am referring to your technology platform.

Your business, whether non-profit or for profit, whether small large or in between will benefit greatly from working with a technology platform in mind.

I recognize most organizations are not considering all of these elements when conducting their business, which is fine and is also one of the reasons why there are so many products that do similar things. I’m not complaining as this also serves to perpetuate opportunities for me.
